Creamy Cashew Cheese Sauce (vegan)

  • 1 cup raw cashews (soaked overnight in water)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Sea salt & pepper to taste
  1. Drain the cashews (discard the water).
  2. In a blender, add the cashews and all of the other ingredients.
  3. If needed, add more almond milk until desired consistency.
  4. Pour into a container with a lid and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
